Lunch at Stephanie’s on Newbury followed by the elephant exhibition
Join the National Federation of the Blind of Massachusetts (NFBMA) for a special afternoon of art, friendship, fellowship, and exploration in Boston. We’ll gather for lunch at Stephanie’s on Newbury before heading out together to experience an extraordinary elephant art exhibition.
Come walk among the herd, experience their majesty and peacefulness, and discover the beautiful and intricate artwork that brings these magnificent animals to life. We hope you’ll join us for this unique opportunity to experience something new while spending time with your Federation family.
Experience the Elephants
The elephants await your arrival. Walk among the herd, listen to the birdsong in the trees, experience their immense forms up close, and become part of their world.
The exhibition shares a powerful story of coexistence and our connection to the natural world. The planet is our home—and theirs. Through remarkable artistry, the herd reminds us that there is room for all of us and encourages us to consider how we can better share our world with wildlife.
Described as a monumental, cinematic, and moving work of performance art, this unique exhibition offers an opportunity to experience the wonder and awe inspired by these extraordinary artistic creations. The size, detail, and beauty of the elephants create an immersive experience designed to bring visitors closer to the natural world.
One of our NFBMA members recently visited the exhibition and was truly awed by the beautiful and intricate artwork. It is a special experience, and we would love for many of us to enjoy it together.

Joining Us for the Exhibition Only?
You are welcome to join us even if you cannot attend lunch. Plan to meet the group outside Stephanie’s on Newbury at approximately 2:00 p.m. We’ll gather there before heading to the exhibition together.
Please let us know in advance if you plan to meet us at 2:00 p.m. so we can make sure everyone is accounted for before we leave.
Accessibility and Sighted Guides
We want everyone to have an enjoyable experience exploring the exhibition. We are working to secure several sighted guides to assist blind and low-vision participants and help make the outing as accessible and engaging as possible.
If you would benefit from a sighted guide and are able to bring someone with you, that would be very helpful. Additional information about available volunteer guides will be shared as arrangements are finalized.
Let Us Know You’re Coming
Please let Shara Winton know whether you plan to join us for lunch and the exhibition or the exhibition only, and whether you will bring a sighted guide.
Knowing who will be attending will help us reserve the appropriate amount of space for lunch, plan for accessibility needs, and make sure everyone is together before we head to the exhibition.
